My barefoot green gang - #urbanjunglebloggers

Ma voi avete una green gang a casa?  Io si, volete sapere com'è nata? Bene, quando arriva la bella stagione trasferisco le mie piante grasse fuori sul terrazzo. Per non stressarle, prima di esporle nella parte più esterna del terrazzo le colloco su questa piccola serra (adesso aperta) che ha costruito l'idraulico, ben protetta nell'angolo così che cactus e succulente possano abituarsi al nuovo ambiente.

Messe lì, questo gruppo di piantine sembra davvero una green gang! Alcune sono nuove (ogni tanto non resisto e me ne compro qualcuna) mentre le rose sono lì per ripararsi dal forte vento che c'è stato nei giorni scorsi.
Quando ho letto il tema per gli Urban Jungle Bloggers di Judith e Igor di questo mese ho pensato "Ehi, la mia green gang è perfetta"!

Alcuni cachepot arrivano dalla mia giornata da Viridea (l'ho raccontata qui) come ad esempio la piccola faccina, che è un'idea della stylist Elisabetta Viganò. Altri invece sono di IKEA e altri di recupero, come le vecchie tazze da latte e da tè.

Trovo che sia davvero divertente riciclare vecchi oggetti per piantare succulente e piante e se mi seguite su Instagram avrete sicuramente visto dove ho messo il mio piccolo basilico (eccolo qui).
Insomma, si può riciclare e scatenare la fantasia ovunque!

Avere una green gang così è davvero divertente, non vi viene voglia di allestirne una?

Copper pipe hanging planter DIY - #urbanjunglebloggers

"Abbiamo in casa un gomito in rame più grande del 28?" ecco cosa ho chiesto all'idraulico l'altro giorno... di solito le mogli non fanno queste domande!
Avevo in mente un'idea per l'appuntamento di febbraio degli Urban Jungle Bloggers di Judith e Igor dal tema Hanging Planters e l'ho realizzata ispirandomi liberamente a questo post di Poppytalk.

Raccordo a gomito in rame diametro 35, cordino bianco, uncinetto grosso... ecco fatto!

I had an idea for the February Urban Jungle Bloggers of Judith and Igor themed Hanging Planters and I made my idea freely inspired by this post of Poppytalk.

A copper junction of 35 mm diameter, white yard, crochet... that's it!

My plant shelfie!

Finalmente riesco a partecipare al nuovo appuntamento con gli Urban Jungle Bloggers di da Judith e Igor.
Questo mese il tema proposto era "My Plant Shelfie", una composizione green su una mensola che parlasse di noi.
Ecco, per questa composizione io non ho fatto styling, se entraste adesso in casa mia vedreste tutto questo esattamente così. Il motivo della mia scelta è che tutto quello che c'è in questa composizione parla di me: la piantina nella latta di pomodoro (prodotto nella mia città, Parma) è così da tempo e parla di riuso e riciclo come piace a me, il vecchio coperchio smaltato rosso e usato come fosse un quadro era della mia nonna, la tavola decorata, una delle mie creazioni handmade della serie "the Art of Nature" che tanto sono piaciute nei mercatini questa estate.
E quel mini cactus cresciuto in modo così strano, io lo trovo simpaticissimo, sembra che stia alzando la mano come a voler prendere la parola e dire la sua. Ogni giorno quando rientro in casa mi strappa un sorriso!

Today a new round of the Urban Jungle Bloggers group, created by Judith and Igor.
This month the theme proposed was "My Plant Shelfie", a green composition on a shelf representing us unique as we are.
Here, for this composition, I have not done styling, if you come into my home just right now you would see it all exactly as it is. The reason for my choice is that all there is in this composition speaks about me: the succulent in the can of tomato (product in my city, Parma) tells about upcycling which I love so much, the old red enameled lid which I use as a framework come from my grandmother, the decorated wooden table, one of my handmade creations from the series "the Art of Nature".
And that mini cactus grown so strangely, I find it very nice, seems to be raising his hand as if to speak and tell us his thoughts. Every day when I return home it gives me a big smile!

Creative plant pots, how to dress up your plants

Oggi un nuovo appuntamento del gruppo degli Urban Jungle Bloggers creato da Judith e Igor di cui sono entrata a far parte.
Questo mese il tema proposto era "Creative plant pots, how to dress up your plants", per condividere i nostri vasi creativi o le idee DIY scovate in rete.
Io avevo un bel mestolo vintage e ne ho ricavato un piccolo porta succulente, perfetto da appendere in terrazzo durante l'estate e portare in cucina d'inverno quando le piante grasse temono il freddo del Nord Italia. E' bastato dipingerlo con smalto bianco ecologico, tranne nella parte interna del mestolo dove va messa la terra. All'ultimo minuto ho aggiunto un pezzo di washi tape con decoro geometrico (per coprire un piccolo difetto ma, ssssshhhh non diciamolo a nessuno!).
Un ottimo modo per far rivivere i vecchi oggetti, cosa ne pensate?

This month the theme was "Creative plant pots, how to dress up your plants," to share our creative pots or ideas DIY unearthed in the web. 
I had a nice vintage ladle which I upcycled in a little succulent pot, perfect to hang on the terrace during the summer and in the kitchen during winter time, when the succulent plants cannot survive the cold of Northern Italy. I painted it with white eco-friendly acrylic, except the inside of the ladle where you put the soil. At the last minute I added a piece of washi tape with geometric decoration (to cover a small defect, but let's not say to anyone ssssshhhh!). 

A great way to give new life to old objects, what do you think?

Greens in cafés, shops & restaurants - Urban Jungle Bloggers

Tempo fa mi sono unita con entusiasmo al bellissimo gruppo degli Urban Jungle Bloggers creato da Judith e Igor (grazie di avermi accolta!) ma fino ad oggi non ero riuscita a postare nulla.
Questo mese invece il tema proposto è proprio caduto a pennello: "Greens in cafés, shops & restaurants", per catturare le giungle urbane nei locali pubblici durante le nostre gite fuori porta.
Proprio due settimane fa ho passato un weekend nella meravigliosa Toscana, tra Siena, San Gimignano e la superlativa Val d'Orcia. Mentre camminavo per Montalcino (si, il luogo dove producono il famoso vino Brunello tanto adorato dall'idraulico)  vedo questo Caffè decorato con erbe aromatiche, frutta e verdura... l'ho amato subito, spero piaccia anche a voi!

Some time ago I joined with enthusiasm at the beautiful group of the Urban Jungle Bloggers created by Judith and Igor (thanks for welcoming me!) but until now I was not able to post anything. 
This month, the theme proposed is just dropped a glove: "Greens in cafés, shops & restaurants", to capture the urban jungles in public places during our trips. 
Just two weeks ago I spent a weekend in the beautiful Tuscany, between Siena, San Gimignano and the superlative Val d'Orcia. While i was walking in Montalcino village (yes, the place where the famous Brunello wine is produced... the plumber loves it so much!) I saw this Café decorated with herbs, fruits and vegetables ... I loved it immediately, I hope you like it too!
